The meaning of Christmas

Christmas is one of the most important Christian and cultural holidays of the year, but what is the true meaning of Christmas? For Christians, the true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jesus was brought into the world to take care of the things we have fouled up: transgression. God sent his main child to be the expiation for every one of our transgressions with the goal that we would not be isolated from God. Without Jesus, we would all pass on for our transgressions. We acquired our corrupt nature from the primary individuals God made, Adam and Eve. While being completely God but completely man, Jesus appeared on the scene as a newborn child to save every one of us.

Most Christmas customs change in importance and emblematic significance. For instance, we trade gifts since God sent us the most valuable gift: his main Son. Likewise, three Wisemen visited Jesus and brought gifts also. A sonnet named A Visit from St. Nicholas wrote in 1822 advocated the custom of trading gifts as well.

Despite the fact that individuals overall observe Christ’s introduction to the world on December 25th, all things considered, he was brought into the world on an alternate month and date. The congregation in the fourth century picked December 25th as it facilitated with the Solstice on the Roman Calendar. (See: When Was Jesus Born?)

For Christians, the genuine importance of Christmas is the festival of the Savior, Jesus Christ. We realize that through faith in Christ we are little girls and children of God. Paradise will one day be our home. Maybe this will assist you with taking a gander at the Christmas season contrastingly this year. An opportunity to really take in the marvel and stunningness of the period.

The Christmas story is recorded in Luke 2:4-19.

“So Joseph additionally went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, since he had a place with the house and line of David. He went there to enlist with Mary, who was vowed to be hitched to him and was anticipating a kid. While they were there, the opportunity arrived for the child to be conceived, and she brought forth her firstborn, a child. She enveloped him by materials and put him in a trough on the grounds that there was no space for them in the motel.

“Also there were shepherds living out in the fields close by, overseeing their herds around evening time. A holy messenger of the Lord appeared to them, and the greatness of the Lord sparkled around them, and they were scared. Be that as it may, the holy messenger said to them, ‘Don’t be apprehensive. I give you uplifting news of extraordinary pleasure that will be for every one individuals. Today in the town of David a Savior has been brought into the world to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be an indication to you: You will observe a child enveloped by materials and lying in a trough.’

“Abruptly an incredible organization of the great host showed up with the holy messenger, adulating God and saying, ‘Magnificence to God in the most noteworthy, and on earth harmony to men on whom his approval rests.’

“At the point when the holy messengers had left them and gone into paradise, the shepherds said to each other, ‘We should go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has occurred, which the Lord has filled us in about.’ So they rushed off and tracked down Mary and Joseph and the child, who was lying in the trough. At the point when they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been educated them regarding this youngster, and all who heard it were astounded at what the shepherds said to them. However, Mary prized up this multitude of things and considered them in her heart.” (Luke 2:4-19)

Vassula Rydén, in her book, Heaven Is Real But So Is Hell: An Eyewitness Account of What is to Come shares prophetic messages foretelling events to come and what is meant by the “End of Times.” Through divine locutions, Vassula has received messages from God, in which He warns a time of trial and judgment is near, yet offers us His Love and salvation, before it’s too late. Vassula explains how God is calling us: “In the midst of our modern culture, which continues to turn its back on God, the Lord is offering us a solution to lead millions back to Him before it is too late. God’s love knows no bounds. He hears and answers our prayers! How can we hear His divine Hymn of Love? How can we rekindle the fire of faith?

Excerpt

EXCERPT FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE BOOK:

I’ve been called to see the supernatural… If you met me on the street, you would never suspect this. I look and act much like everyone else. I’m not a nun or a recluse or a gypsy fortune-teller. I’m just like you, yet I’m invited to see in visions a world – a dimension – far beyond you and me.

It’s an invisible world that surrounds us – a world of Angels and demons, and powers and forces that affect every moment of our lives. I see that world, and seeing it changes the way I see our material world. It helps me grasp the hidden meaning behind so many unanswered questions in our lives.

  • Where do people go when they die?
  • Is there a Heaven and a Hell, and anything in between?
  • Do demons or evil spirits exist, or are they just a myth?
  • Does everything happen for a reason?
  • If God is good, why does He allow us to suffer?
  • Can dreams or premonitions tell us the future?
  • Are we living in the last days?
  • Will there be, in the end, any divine justice?

Unending questions about life and death, and what we are all doing here. The answers to many of these questions can only be discovered by seeing them from a different perspective – like turning over the backside of a tapestry to see how all the tangled threads create an elegant image.

And from my earliest days, experiences were given to me by God, not only to enable me to see from that perspective, but for His own reasons as well.

This is a story of amazing, incredible experiences and encounters with the Divine – with God – and what they mean to me, to you, and to the whole world.

Miracles from God that you can not explain (video)

A miracle is a supernatural event that seems inexplicable by natural or scientific laws. In various religions, a phenomenon that is characterized as miraculous is often attributed to the actions of a supernatural being, (especially) a deity, magician, a miracle worker, a saint, or a religious leader.

Informally, the word miracle is often used to characterise any beneficial event that is statistically unlikely but not contrary to the laws of nature, such as surviving a natural disaster, or simply a “wonderful” occurrence, regardless of likelihood (e.g. “the miracle of childbirth”). Some coincidences may be seen as miracles.

A true miracle would, by definition, be a non-natural phenomenon, leading many writers to dismiss them as physically impossible (that is, requiring violation of established laws of physics within their domain of validity) or impossible to confirm by their nature (because all possible physical mechanisms can never be ruled out). The former position is expressed for instance by Thomas Jefferson and the latter by David Hume. Theologians typically say that, with divine providence, God regularly works through nature yet, as a creator, is free to work without, above, or against it as well.

Wikipedia

Also, the Bible uses three main words to refer to a miracle: sign, wonder, and power. These three words help us better understand what the phrase God of miracles means. Basically, a miracle is an act of God beyond human understanding that displays God’s power, inspires wonder in humans, and acts as a sign that God is at work in the world.

From a human perspective, a miracle of God is an extraordinary or unnatural event (a wonder) that reveals or confirms a specific message (a sign) through a mighty work (power). From the God of miracle’s vantage point, a miracle is nothing extraordinary or unnatural. It is simply a divine display of His might (power) that attracts the attention of humans (a wonder) to His Word or His purposes (a sign).
