
Tragedy in Tempe: Grief in Cyprus too, the two Cypriot students were identified..
With deep sorrow, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, was informed of the tragic event of the identification of the bodies of the two Cypriot students, Kyprianos Papaioannou and Anastasia Adamidou, who were on board the fatal train in Greece.
The President of the Republic expresses his sincere and deep condolences to the families of the two Cypriot students, as well as to all the victims, as well as the undivided support of the State.
As announced by the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus, with instructions from the President of the Republic, the cost of transporting the bodies of the two young students, as well as the return of their family members to Cyprus, will be covered by the state.
The funeral of the two Cypriot students will be publicly funded.
President Christodoulidis declared three days of mourning until the day of the funeral, while he gave instructions for all members of the Government to refrain from any public events.
